There are some things that EVERY Thirsty Explorer needs for survival on the road. No one adores that morning espresso at the local cafe or walk-up bar after an overnight train or redeye flight more than me! But my #1 must have gadget is an immersion water heater so I can have several cups of coffee when I wake up in the morning without leaving my room. I’ve been known to make a cup of coffee in places you’d least expect! I also carry a thermal cup to make coffee on the go and of course instant coffee or tea. The next thing you might need is a travel bottle or wine opener!
