Left Coast Cellars has it all
Table of Contents
Left Coast Cellars is a favorite of mine. It’s a spot where you can lounge under the shade trees and enjoy a pizza from the wood fired oven or munch on a fresh salad with your wine or cider. The estate is not only a vineyard but a winery and working farm. They focus on sustainability and restoring the land to its original splendor. They farm 160 acres of grapes along with heritage apples brought by the first settlers. You can read about their story and the passion they have for conservation of the land on their website. As you enter the vineyard, it’s beautifully landscaped and takes you to the hilltop where you find a beautiful grassy knoll across from the tasting room.
Running through beautiful vineyards
Left Coast Cellars offers events where you can come gather and sit in what I call the park. and listen to music and entertainment. There is a hiking trail and they host the annual Run for The Oaks 5K/10K that supports the Oak Savanna Restoration Project.
There are tastes for everyone
The Left Coast Cellars tasting room and cafe is comfortable and airy, the pizza oven is in the next room over and there are many drink options of wine, and non-alcoholic for everyone. They produce cider from the apple trees on the farm and many different Pinot styles as well as Chardonney, Viognier, and Brut to boot! There is no lack of variety when it comes to drink offerings.
Another beautiful Willamette View
On a breezy warm Willamette Valley summer day, nothing can really describe the beauty of the hills and valleys. It’s lack of rain and low humidity in summer seems crazy when you see and know how wet and rainy this valley can be in winter. But, I can guarantee you won’t disappointed in July or August! You can read all about my wine tasting fun on my post Wine Country of the Willamette Valley!
